WHAT SESSION IS BEST FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY?

NEWBORN SESSION

I take great care to capture all the tiny details, expressions, natural poses, and family connection in these newborn sessions. My sessions are very relaxed and your baby is not only the star of the show but also the boss of the day. I will work around your newborn to ensure the most peaceful and calm experience for everyone. Expect to spend around 3 hours in my studio located within Halifax, in Hammonds Plains. This time allows for as much snuggling and feeding breaks as your little one might need. These sessions are a wonderful opportunity to document special bonding moments between all family members, siblings included.

If you're looking for timeless organic images that are sure to bring you back to this incredible yet fleeting time, this session is for you. These sessions can be done anytime between 5 days and 12 weeks old.

Session fee of $250 + tax, due at the time of booking, plus the cost of package. Choose your package after viewing your fully edited gallery online. All fees are + tax.

LIFESTYLE MINI

The newest addition to my offerings comes from a deep love of documenting natural moments and connection in my images, as well as making space for families wishing for fewer photos or shorter sessions. Lifetsyle sessions are a combination natural & candid shots of you and your partner with your baby. These can be done anytime between 5 days and 4 months old. These can also be done with just your baby, or your baby and one parent. In these sessions your baby will be dressed or swaddled and we will focus on natural moments throughout your shorter 40-minute session. Lifestyle sessions can also be purchased to document the bond of nursing, or as a mommy and me session.

If you're looking for a handful of beautiful images to capture the authenticity of this time for you and your baby this session is for you.

*Siblings and extended family are not included with these shorter sessions. No undressed, or newborn poses.

Session fee of $125 + tax, due at the time of booking, plus the cost of package. Choose your package after viewing your fully edited gallery online. All fees are + tax.

Maternity

MATERNITY SESSION

All maternity sessions take place either inside my Hammonds plains studio, or on my rustic property outside surrounded by trees and lake. Maternity sessions last 60-75 minutes. These sessions can include your partner, as well as your children, or take it as an opportunity to pamper and treat yourself. All clients are welcome to use my maternity wardrobe, we can do up to three looks in your session if you wish.

Session fee of $150 due at the time of booking. Choose your package after viewing your gallery online. All sessions are + tax.

BUMP AND BABY PACKAGE

For parents who know they wish to book a newborn session as well, this package is for you. You will receive priority booking of your newborn session, a discounted rate for bundling your sessions, as well as a custom designed layflat album with your favourite images from each session. This is an all inclusive experience that gets you all digital edited images from each Maternity and Newborn session, and gives you something priceless to look through year after year with your heirloom album.

Family & portrait

Both portrait and family sessions can be used for babies 4 months and up, birthdays, cake smashes, and more.

FAMILY SESSION

All family sessions take place either inside my Hammonds plains studio, or on my rustic property outside, surrounded by trees and lake. Family sessions last 60-75 minutes. Outdoor sessions take place 1.5 hours before sunset, please keep that in mind when planning sessions with little ones.

Every year I offer seasonal sessions, late spring and early summer offers a beautiful lupin field on my property that lasts into mid summer. Late summer and early fall sees trees in full bloom, loads of texture, and of course the lake. October is a popular month for fall photos and tends to book up early every year for the beautiful autumn colours. My bookings for outdoor photos are limited, booking in advance is highly recommended. Reserving your session in winter to early spring are best for insuring you have the date you want. Studio sessions take place all year, Monday through Friday, and are a bit easier to book.

If you're interested in getting photos done of your little one, or have a special birthday shoot you'd like but you would also like to be in some of these photos, this is the session for you.

PORTRAIT SESSION

Portrait sessions are a wonderful way to document each milestone stage of your little one. My personal favourite is around the 7 month mark when they're sitting for short periods on their own, and full of belly laughs. Birthday sessions are another great time to have a portrait session done, bring a cake along for the end of the session if you want some extra fun! This session is for one child only. If you're interested in getting photos done of your little one, or have a special birthday shoot you'd like but you would also like to be in some of these photos, booking the family session is for you.

Packages

Bundle two or more sessions together for an all inclusive experience with bigger savings including a custom designed 8x10 heirloom album.
